Concrete Mix is a blended mixture of sand and gravel used with cement to make ready mix concrete. The 3/4 inch Concrete Mix is used five parts to one of cement for pouring driveways, foundations, and sidewalks. The 3/8 inch Concrete Mix is used when filling block walls. Mix four parts 3/8 inch Concrete Mix to one part cement. The 3/8 inch Concrete Mix will not make as strong a ready mix concrete as the 3/4 inch concrete mix. Sometimes people prefer 3/8 inch concrete mix because the ready mix concrete is easier to finish.

Used for backfilling perforated drainpipe, french drains, potholes, and roadways. The 3/4 inch crushed drain rock is good for potholes and driveways. The crushed rock locks together making a more stable surface.

Gravels can be used for pathways, driveways and as ground covers. The smaller gravels are often used on roofs over tar.

| Pathway Fines | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
Pathway fines can be used to create a stable, nautral looking walkway or parking strip. The grey fines are the finest, they pack really well making them great for horse paddocks. The blue fines are coarsest of the fines, they do not pack quit as tightly but they have a beautiful blue grey color.

Sand has many different uses. The Olympia Sands are used for making mortar or stucco. Because Olympia Sand is screened and washed it is often used for children's sand boxes and for volleyball courts. The Fill Sand is a delta sand, it is a PG&E approved sand for backfilling pipes. It is also used under concrete slabs. Concrete sand, also known as top sand, is a coarse washed and screened sand. It is used as a base for setting stones and brick because it packs together well and will not wash out as easily as finer sands.
