FAQ: What’s the new normal at Lyngso during COVID-19?
Lyngso’s efforts in keeping our staff and customers safe during COVID-19:
Lyngso is open Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM, Saturday from 8 AM to 4 PM and closed on Sunday.
2022 Shoreway Road Construction (Estimated Timeline):
Detour from March 2nd, 2022 – early May 2022: Shoreway Road at Holly Street is closed. Starting March 3rd, please use Ralston Avenue to Shoreway Road or Twin Dolphin Drive to Cormorant Drive to Shoreway Road
Detour early May 2022 – early of June 2022: Shoreway Road at Holly Street is open to Lyngso and only access to Lyngso during this phase. No truck access to Lyngso from Ralston Avenue to Shoreway Road or from Cormorant Drive off Twin Dolphin Drive.
Detour early June 2022 – end of July 2022: Shoreway Road at Holly Street is open to Lyngso and only access to Lyngso during this phase. No access to Lyngso from Ralston Avenue to Shoreway Road or from Cormorant Drive off Twin Dolphin Drive. Access to the Shoreway Environmental Transfer Station will be from Ralston Avenue or Cormorant Drive to Shoreway Road.

Our inside sales lobby, display garden, warehouse, retail center, and materials yard are open to the public.

We kindly ask all our customers to wear a mask, gloves (if needed), and practice social distancing while at Lyngso. You may bring your own shovel if you prefer not to use ours. Card payment or Lyngso account payment is accepted via our contactless drive-through window. Currently, cash payments are not preferred.
All Lyngso staff at our site are adhering to the following procedures:
- Staying home if sick
- Staying home if someone in the household is sick
- Staff who can work from home are working from home.
- Social distancing, maintaining a minimum of 6’ between all people
- Sanitize common areas
- Proper handwashing on arrival to work, during breaks, before eating, and before leaving
- Gatekeepers wear masks and gloves
- All yard staff wear masks and gloves
- All drivers wear masks and gloves

What products are available for pick up?
All bulk materials and pre-bagged are available for pick up.
You will be greeted at the truck entrance gate by our staff who will take your order and instruct you on where to go. Payment is by Credit Card, Lyngso Account if you have one.
While in the yard, please stay in your vehicle at all times.
Once materials are loaded in your vehicle, you will drive to the drive-up window to pay; payment is by credit card or house charge if you have a Lyngso account.

Can you provide Will-Call pick of products in the parking lot?
Yes, we can provide no contact pre-paid will-call pick up of some of our products in the parking lot. Please note that it may take us several days to fulfill your order.
For faster service, please place your order for In-Store Pickup on our website for select materials.
I’m a contractor/designer/architect, industry professional, or municipality and I have questions, where do I reach out?

If you are an existing Lyngso charge customer, we are requesting a pre-payment for all orders. If you want to discuss other payment options, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Contractor Sales Contact:
Can I order materials for pick up at Lyngso by my gardener or contractor?
Yes, you may place your pre-paid In-Store Pickup order on our website beforehand and have your gardener or contractor pick up on the date and time specified on the order. It is important to have your gardener or contractor bring a copy of the order with them, without an order number and verification from you specifying the person picking up the materials we are unable to load.
Please note that contractor discounts will not be applied to orders that are not directly placed by a contractor with a valid contractor license.
Can I visit Lyngso and talk to a salesperson to look at materials?
Yes but we recommend making an appointment with our sales staff ahead of time for extensive inquiries. They will meet you in the parking lot, assist you in our materials yard, show you the products, and answer any questions. Walk-in customers without an appointment may have extended wait times to be assisted by a salesperson.
Can I get your sales staff to help me select materials?
Can I get U-sacks of bulk material?
Yes, you may bag U-sacks. Please wear a mask and gloves as you will be using a community shovel or bring your own shovel. Please go the parking lot yard entrance, you will be greeted by Lyngso Staff who will give you bags and tell you when you can enter the bagging area so we maintain social distancing.
When you are done bagging, you will drive to the drive-through window to pay by credit card or with your Lyngso account.
I want to look at, choose and purchase palletized stone and boulders?
If you don’t have any questions, you are welcome to park in the parking lot and walk into the yard to look at our products.
If you already know the materials that you would like to purchase, we can load your truck and you can pay at the drive-through window by credit card or house account.
If you want to tag palletized stone or boulders, please let our staff know or make an appointment in advance with our sales staff. Walk-in customers without an appointment may have extended wait times to be assisted by a salesperson.
For everyone’s health and safety, there will be a limited number of customers allowed in our yard.
Can you deliver materials to a site?
Yes, we are able to do contactless deliveries of all materials.

All orders will receive an email invoice upon completion of the sale.
Can you give me advice on my project?
Yes, that’s one of our favorite things to do! Give us a call at (650) 364 1730 or email us at email@example.com and we’ll try to help as much as we can. But please be patient. These days there are fewer people over here doing more things in a slightly different way, so it may take us a little while to get back to you.
Are rental trucks still available for me to rent and haul your materials?
Rental trucks are no longer available from Lyngso. For decades, Lyngso has provided this service and during COVID, the decision was made to no longer rents truck. However, we still can load your vehicles and offer deliveries. We also encourage our customers to place a delivery order directly online for select materials.
Can I get your staff’s help loading materials?
To ensure your protection as well as our staff’s protection, we are following social distancing policy of 6’ and require masks that cover mouth and nose.
Our yard staff will load palletized products with a forklift and dump bulk materials in to your vehicle without physical contact.
If you need help hand loading material into your vehicle, our yard staff will do their best to accommodate you. If the product requires two people to load, you may need to wait. Due to social distancing, you may not assist our yard staff loading product into your vehicle. You may bring help along and load yourself.
