Creating Year Round Interest in a California Native Garden

Presenter Master Gardener Delle Maxwell: A Master Gardener since 2014, Delle has a personal interest in drought-tolerant plants—especially California natives, cacti, and succulents. Her Portola Valley garden has been on the Going Native Garden Tour many times, most recently in April 2014.
Delle is a long-time volunteer at the San Francisco Botanical Garden at Strybing Arboretum, where she works in the nursery doing plant propagation. She also serves as Chair on the Board of Trustees for the San Francisco Botanical Garden Society.
